Air Core Reactors are inductive devices designed to provide impedance in electrical circuits without using a magnetic core. Unlike iron-core reactors, which rely on ferromagnetic materials to enhance inductance, air-core reactors utilize non-magnetic materials (e.g., aluminum or copper windings) and rely solely on the geometry of their coils to generate inductance.
